Gummi FKT Brake and Clutch
Designed specifically for serve brake or clutch application, Gummi FKT Brake Clutch transmit torque through the torque bar compare to FK and FM elements, where use the torque is transmitted through the sidewall of the neoprene rubber tube.
For the same given drum diameter, Gummi FKT Brake Clutch have 2 different width, the narrow series and the wide series which provides flexibility in designing of machinery.
Other than 14FKT1000, both narrow and wide series can be bolted together to form a Dual Element, providing twice the torque capacity.
Applications: Cement Crusher, Ball Mills, Grinding Mills, Drawworks, Marine Propulsion, Azimuth Drives, Theme Parks Rides, Metal Forming Machinery, Oil Field Machinery, Steel Industries.

Ventilated Construction
Design with large air passages through the entire length, the friction shoe blocks allows cooling air to flow through the element, providing a dynamic air cooling systems, helps to dissipate heat from the internal side of the friction shoe blocks. This greatly increase the thermal capacity of the Element.
No Lubrication Required
There is no crucial sliding component, which require lubrication, thus saving maintenance time, as well as money
Any Plane Operation
The construction design and characteristics, combines with the centrifugal force, allows the clutch to operate in any plane.
Flexible Coupling
The neoprene rubber properties of the tube allows the drive to accommodate minor parallel or angular misalignment.
Shock-Absorbing Effect
The properties of the neoprene rubber material, works like a shock absorber.
It absorbs the shock loads, protecting the drive components of the transmission as well as reducing effect of torsional vibration.
Repair of FKT Element Brake Clutch
As the tube is vulcanised to the rim, the only parts that can be repair will only be the friction shoe assembly.
